Explosive connections!

From Mr A. F. Huntley, MRPharmS

Your My careers article reported that Brian Lockwood is currently director of PIAT (PJ, 15 November, p582). I hope that this post has no connection with explosives.

In early 1944, being a member (a private) in the Home Guard, I was present on a rifle range at Bradford-on-Avon at a demonstration of the PIAT, namely “projectile infantry anti-tank” but was fortunately never involved with further acquaintances of this weapon.
