John was a community pharmacist who for many years ran his own pharmacy in Litchfield, Staffordshire.     I was very sorry to hear of the death of my friend and colleague Ian Caldwell. Ian qualified in 1960 and for many years ran a pharmacy in Abbeyhill Street, Glasgow. Ian became a member of the Scottish Executive of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, and subsequently was elected to the Society’s Council.
