Rose Marie Parr will speak at the two-day event in Stirling.

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) in Scotland has confirmed that Rose Marie Parr, Scotland’s chief pharmaceutical officer, will speak at this year’s Scottish National Seminar.

The two-day event, which this year is based on the theme of “Pharmacy for the future — building on strong foundations”, will take place in Stirling on 31 September and 1 October, and is free to RPS members.

Also speaking at the seminar is Graham Kramer, GP principal at Annat Bank Practice in Montrose, who will talk about pharmacists’ role in responding to people’s health literacy needs; Gordon Johnston, chair of Bipolar Scotland, and Frances Fowlie, senior pharmacist for the care of the elderly service with NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

A full list of speakers is available on the RPS website. Places for one or both days at the seminar can be reserved at: https://www.rpharms.com/events/scottish-national-seminar
