Dementia link to common medicines

28 January 2015: A report was published which links commonly used medicines, including some over-the-counter treatments, to dementia. RPS English pharmacy board chair David Branford was interviewed by LBC Radio and Channel 5 News.

Speaking to Channel 5, Branford said: “One hopes now that they’re not used to any great extent but what I would suggest is people check it out. If they’re on a lot of medicines they probably need to go to their pharmacist and ask for a full medication review.”
