Pharmacy Research UK is inviting applications to its research grant fund for 2013.

Awards: Pharmacy Research UK Subscription

Pharmacy Research UK is accepting applications from pharmacists for research funding. The Personal Research Awards and Research Training Bursaries provide funding for novice and early-career researchers.  More information can be found on the Pharmacy Research UK website. The deadline for application for the research training bursaries is 17 May 2013; the deadline for application for the personal research awards is 24 May 2013.

Appointments: Pharmacist Support Subscription

As of 1 January 2013 Steve Churton, FRPharmS, takes over as chairman of the board of trustees of Pharmacist Support. Peter Noyce, FRPharmS, joins him as vice-chairman and Richard Fass as treasurer. Hamish Borno, MRPharmS, Christine Miles, MRPharmS, and Sally Atkinson have been newly appointed to the board.

New research trust, Pharmacy Research UK, launched Subscription

Pharmacy Research UK, a marriage between the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust and the Pharmaceutical Trust for Educational and Charitable Objects, was launched earlier this month (13 December 2012).
