    Drug treatment costs for alcohol dependency rise to £2.41m

    The cost to the NHS of prescribed drugs for the treatment of alcohol dependency in England went up by 1.4 per cent in the last year to £2.41m, according to latest figures from the NHS Information Centre for health and social care.
