    The Pharmacological Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has made new recommendations about the use of ivabradine (Procorolan; Servier).   • Plegridy launch Subscription

    Biogen Idec is expecting to launch Plegridy (peginterferon beta-1a) in the UK at the end of November 2014. Plegridy is indicated for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. It is a modified version of interferon beta 1a which is long-acting and so requires injection once every two weeks. List price for pack of two 125 μg injections, £654. 

  • Voltarol 25mg discontinuation Subscription

    Novartis is discontinuing the prescription only pack of Voltarol (diclofenac) 25mg tablets, 84 tablet pack. This is due to the closure of the manufacturing plant. The Voltarol tablets 50mg remain available. Further information on 01276 698370.
