  • Consultation: Ustekinumab Subscription

    The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has launched a consultation on draft guidance for ustekinumab (Stelara). The draft guidance proposes to not recommend the use of ustekinumab for treating active psoriatic arthritis in adults when the response to previous non-biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drug therapy has been inadequate. The consultation is available on the NICE website until 17 January 2014.

    The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network has launched a consultation on the updated draft British guideline on the management of asthma. The guideline is open for comment on the SIGN website until 17 January 2014.

     The Scottish Government has published a document highlighting relevant legislative standards, best practice and patient safety recommendations that apply to the safe and secure storage of medicines in hospital wards. The document is available from the Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates section of the NHS Scotland website.
