    All patients in Inverclyde are to be able to have medicines for minor ailments provided directly by their community pharmacist to test whether opening up the minor ailment service (MAS) to all patients will improve access to primary care and encourage patients to use the pharmacy as a first port of call.

    On 1 January 2017, Michael John Phelan MRPharmS, aged 73, of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Mr Phelan registered with the Society in 1965. This notice was amended on 28 February 2017 to correct Mr Phelan’s age.

    On 20 December 2016, Fridrun Podczeck, aged 57, of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Podczeck was made an honorary member of the Society in June 2006. Between 2002 and 2008, she was professor of pharmaceutics at Sunderland University. She was also a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and held the status of Chartered Scientist (CSci). From 2008, Podczeck held voluntary lectures at University College London and acted as a peer reviewer for journals in the fields of materials ...
