    The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has apologised for problems with preregistration papers that have affected candidates who sat the examination at Liverpool John Moores University last week. Preregistration students had to wait 75 minutes in the examination room while correct and complete sets of the open book paper were supplied.

    Steve Churton was today (29 June 2010) re-elected President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, beating rival candidate Tristan Learoyd by nine votes. Mr Churton will remain in post as a “caretaker President” until the Society separates in the autumn and the new professional body will be established.
