Photoguide: Some clinical features of scarlet fever

1) Strawberry tongue initially appears white, but when the coating is lost appears beefy and red; the patient also has circumoral pallor around the mouth. 2) A red, blanching rash usually develops by day two. It often starts on the upper trunk, before spreading to the neck and limbs.
