G. Caleb Alexander

G. Caleb Alexander, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he serves as a founding co-Director of the Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness. He is a practising general internist and pharmacoepidemiologist and is internationally recognised for his research examining prescription drug utilisation. Dr. Alexander is the author of over 170 scientific articles and book chapters, is a frequent speaker on health care issues and has served on numerous editorial and advisory boards. Dr. Alexander received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of Science from the University of Chicago.
