Antimicrobial pharmacy conference held in Lancashire

By News team

Antimicrobial pharmacists in the north west of England staged their first conference on 9 November 2010 in Lancashire.

“The point of the day was to give attendees a solid grounding in the principles of antibiotic stewardship and discuss what we should be doing as antimicrobial pharmacists,” said North West Antimicrobial Pharmacists Group member Andrew Lewis. “We are keen to communicate that successful events can be put together by small groups of pharmacists.”

The event was attended by over 100 delegates and was free of charge.
