GSK’s Carlton Lawson elected president of Proprietary Association of Great Britain

Carlton Lawson, general manager of GlaxoSmithKline consumer healthcare in Great Britain and Ireland, has been elected president of the Proprietary Association of Great Britain.

Mr Lawson, who is currently the PAGB’s vice-president takes up his new role next week (3 March 2014). He succeeds David Barnett of Novartis following his appointment as its Latin America regional head.

The PAGB is the UK trade association for manufacturers of over-the-counter medicines.
