Health and Social Care Bill becomes law

The Government’s plans for NHS?reform in England are set to move ahead now that the Health and Social Care Bill has been passed into law. After taking almost a year to gain Parliamentary approval, the Bill was granted royal assent on 27 March.

A series of factsheets about the?reforms, including explanations of key policy areas, have been published by the Department of Health (http://healthandcare.dh.gov.uk/factsheets).
