John D’Arcy made MD at Numark

by News team

John D’Arcy has been appointed managing director of Numark following the departure of Tony Mottram, who has left to pursue “other business interests”.

Mr D’Arcy has worked at Numark in the past — he was appointed interim head in December 2008 before Mr Mottram took over the position in April 2009.

Mr D’Arcy said in a statement: “This is a challenging time for community pharmacy — particularly the independent sector. Now more than ever before, community pharmacy needs behind it the leadership and support inherent in Numark.”

Mr D’Arcy leaves his role as commercial director of Rowlands Pharmacy.
