Martin Astbury re-elected as RPS President

By News team

Martin Astbury has been re-elected as President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, with Sid Dajani re-elected as RPS Treasurer. The positions were uncontested, and were ratified by the Assembly earlier today (23 July 2013).

“The RPS promises to put members’ needs and interests at the heart of everything it does,” said Mr Astbury in his election statement.

“Through the boards and Assembly we can develop a unified, positive and energised profession resulting in a future of which we can all be proud to be a part. . . . As a result, our members will be able to achieve their professional ambitions and become the very best they can.”
