Novartis is discontinuing Anafranil (clomipramine hydrochloride) capsules 10, 25 and 50mg following the close of the UK manufacturing site where the capsules were previously made. The current stock is expected to last until the end of January 2014 for Anafranil capsules 10mg and 50mg, and until August 2014 for Anafranil capsules 25mg. Medical information on 01276 698370.


GlaxoSmithKline is discontinuing Otosporin (polymyxin B sulfate, neomycin sulfate and hydrocortisone) ear drops 5ml and 10ml due to manufacturing complexities. It is expected that stock of the 5ml pack size will be exhausted by January 2014 and stock of the 10ml pack size will be exhausted by May 2014. Further information on 0800 221 441.
