Dupuytren's NICE draft guidance
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has issued draft guidance for consultation that does not recommend collagenase clostridium histolyticum (Xiapex) for the treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, a condition that causes the fingers of the hands to gradually bend in towards to the palm and cannot be straightened. More information can be found on the NICE website under ID621. The deadline for comments is 28 November 2014.
