EPS workshops for community pharmacies

The Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) is running training events about the electronic prescription service (EPS) for all staff working in community pharmacy and for dispensing appliance contractors in England. There will be at least seven training sessions in each local pharmaceutical committee (LPC) area, covering each of the patient medication record (PMR) systems: Analyst; CoMPaSS; NexPhase; Pharmacy Manager; ProScript; ProScript LINK; Rx Webb. The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee is encouraging all community pharmacy teams to attend at least the local event that relates to their PMR system. Attendance of the training can count towards continued professional development. More information, including dates and locations, will continue to be announced on the HSCIC website.
