Quality standard for fertility treatment
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published a new quality standard that emphasises the importance of fertility treatment as a core NHS service. The standard recommends that three full cycles of IVF are offered to women aged under 40 years and one full cycle is offered to some women aged 40–42 years. The quality standard is available from the NICE website.
