New Numark managing director comes from parent company

Jeremy Meader, currently sales director at wholesale pharmacist Phoenix is set to take up the role of managing director at Numark next year, replacing John D’Arcy.

Meader will start at Numark, a pharmacy membership organisation, which is owned by Phoenix, in February 2018 following D’Arcy’s retirement after ten years in the role.

Meader joined Phoenix three years ago having previously worked at GlaxoSmithKline and Alliance Healthcare.

D’Arcy will stay on at Numark in the role of non-executive chairman.

Phoenix UK’s group managing director Steve Anderson said: “We have a great team at Numark, and are going from strength to strength with ambitious growth plans over the coming years.

“Our sector is facing many challenges, but I know Jeremy and John will develop the solutions and support our customers’ need to succeed”.
