Prime minister’s message of support to pharmaceutical wholesaler’s conference

Prime minister Theresa May has sent a letter of support to the organisers and delegates of Sigma Pharmaceutical’s annual conference.

“Community pharmacies remain at the heart of patient care and community wellbeing,” May wrote. “As we are in the midst of national change, I hope the conference allows partners within the community pharmacy sector to discuss how to further shape their businesses for the future.”

This year’s conference, the pharmaceutical wholesaler’s 10th, is taking place from 10 to 16 February in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo. Delegates at the conference include MP Kevin Barron, chair of the All-Party Pharmacy Group, and Sue Sharpe, chief executive of the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee.
