Victorian pharmacy collection under threat
A charity needs to find £72,000 to prevent a unique WestCountry Victorian pharmacy collection being sold. The Park Pharmacy Trust wasleft with the bill after it lost a legal challenge against Plymouth City Councilover the redevelopment of a piece of land the charity had turned into amedicinal garden. Chairman of the trust Jan Knight has asked the council if itwill grant a six month stay of execution to enable the trust to mount acampaign to raise donations to pay the debt.
