The biggest rendition of 'Auld Lang Syne' anywhere in the world will be taking place in Edinburgh! This is probably going to be my shortest blog post ever for the PJ online. But it’s a sweet one too.

Quite incredibly, we have reached the end of yet another year. As life speeds up and moves on, we all get ready to reflect and move on into another year. It’s not the right time for me now to analyse what 2014 will mean for pharmacy, however don’t doubt for a moment that I will take a look ahead at the future for the next twelve months with hope, ambition and passion for progress.

Meanwhile, I want to wish everyone within the profession, you the reader, my family and friends and everyone a peaceful, prosperous and happy 2014!
