 What is an OSCE? If you’d asked me six months ago I would have stared back at you with a blank expression. Ask me now and ill tell you that it stands for Objective Structured Clinical Examination. I could even tell you about how nerve racking OSCE’s can be!

With end of term deadlines looming and then exams within a matter of days the pressure is very quickly building up. Revision is the thorn in every student’s side but each year, without fail, exams will come. Laptops will be on 24/7, energy drinks will be bought by the case-load and the library, like a Vegas casino, will have no sense of time or day.

A few weeks ago I found an article in the Guardian about The Wombats’ lead singer (Matthew Murphy) and his fight with depression since his early teenage years. Normally I would’ve continued flipping quickly through the paper not bothering to read anything but I used to like The Wombats so I felt compelled to read the piece.
