Society and Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association offer Queen's jubilee travel award

To mark the Queen's golden jubilee, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association are offering a Commonwealth Jubilee Travel Fellowship of £2,000 (sterling).

The fellowship will enable a young pharmacist registered in any Commonwealth country to visit any other Commonwealth country to gain improved practice skills and subsequently assist with the development of pharmacy in his or her own country.

The award will be made to a pharmacist who is seen as a potential leader in his or her own country. Applications from developing countries are particularly encouraged.

The award is expected to provide sufficient funding for international travel, local travel and subsistence for up to 10 days in the country visited. The winner will be required to produce a short report of the visit.
