    On 9 August 2019, Betty Carnegie “Monty” Montgomery, aged 82 years, of Glasgow. A former member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Ms Montgomery registered with the Society in 1960 and was designated Fellow in 1983. She was elected to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain’s Scottish Executive in 1975 and chaired the Scottish Executive from 1984 until 1986.
