Enhancing your learning experience
This is just the first step in an exciting new direction.
Long gone are the days when you could only test your self-directed learning by turning to the questions at the back of your textbook and covering the answers. Advancements in technology have brought many advantages for education; not only does the internet provide better access to information but the digital wizardry that goes on behind the scenes has made it easier for us to get real-time feedback on our learning.
At PJ Publications we have been undergoing a major programme of digital development. Part of this process has been to create a new way for you to test your understanding of the content you read in Clinical Pharmacist and The Pharmaceutical Journal.
Our new website, www.pharmaceutical-journal.com brings together learning articles from across both journals to give you seamless access to all the information you need to help you improve your pharmacy practice.
“My CPD” is a section of the website that is dedicated to your learning. It provides a platform for you to view open learning modules, keep track of your progress and download certificates for the modules you have passed. We have also enhanced the module-taking experience; the new system allows you to retake failed modules and provides you with the correct answers as soon as you have completed the questions. Turn to Learning to find out how to access your “My CPD” account and tackle this month’s module, which is based on the Clinical Focus articles on the topic of HIV.
This is just the first step in an exciting new direction so look out for further developments. We welcome your feedback on our progress so far and any suggestions you have that can help us help you learn.
