Study finds pharmacist-led medication reviews may not improve health outcomes


Let's hope everyone reads beyond the headlines. Focus needs to be on high risk, and Clinical Pharmacists must get better at defining this cohort - in social, medication and co-morbidity terms. If absence of evidence translates into refuting the need for best possible medication history performed by Clinical Pharmacists we will rue the day we failed to better define the need for these important clinical interventions by Pharmacists.
