Alistair Burt: 'pharmacists are an untapped resource'


This research actually measured people who died up to three weeks after being admitted at week ends. They did not necessarily die at week ends. All it shows is that people admitted at week ends are sicker than those admitted during the week. Exactly what you'd expect given that elective surgery is carried out on patients admitted during the week
