Leading local practice forums into the future

LPfs, like the earlier Local Branches, provide a way for pharmacists to meet up with one another, to meet fellow members, to talk over current issues, to socialise together, to provide feedback to the National Boards and the Society and to participate in educational / developmental activities. In particular they enable members from all sectors of pharmacy practice to come together and become better aware of issues within each sector.. Attendance at Local Branch meetings also varied widely across the country. It is to be hoped that keen, motivated members will emerge within all of the LPFs to ensure the success of each LPF.The Society will be much poorer without well-functioning, effective, well-attended LPFs..
