Personalised treatment for depression on the horizon: predicting response to antidepressants


This is an extremely important issue, making advance as to selecting particular antidepressants in accordance with particular criteria, v crucial, while depression is on the rise. One point about response to a treatment modality; though around one month is needed for a positive effect to show, in some scholarly articles, if by two weeks the patient shows no evidence of some slight improvement, he is unlikely to respond even after longer periods.
