What is the Falsified Medicines Directive?

10 days is no where near long enough to put an uncollected item back in the system. Who pays for uncollected items that can no longer be put back into stock? If the prescription is submitted surely that would be defrauding the NHS? This is either going to vastly increase medicine waste or alternatively we will all have lots of irate patients waiting longer for prescriptions while every individual item is being scanned out rather than our present system where each prescription is scanned out
