Primary care networks to be fully reimbursed for pharmacists under updated GP contract

I think this is great that appropriate funding is now set. However the contract is still aimed at only prescribing pharmacists. As a clinical pharmacist with 20 years experience in primary care I am now finding it difficult to find work as I don’t want to do another qualification (eg the prescribing course). I can still do a lot of valuable things for GP practices and patients without being a prescriber. But as the funding is badged in such a specific way no one wants to employ me!
