On 20 December 2016, Peter Metcalfe Worling FRPharmS, aged 88, of Midlothian, Edinburgh. Dr Worling registered with the Society in 1950 and was designated a Fellow in 1992. In 1988, Dr Worling was awarded a PhD by the University of Bradford where he worked under the supervision of Professor Geoffrey Booth in the university’s pharmacy practice research unit. His thesis was entitled ‘Pharmaceutical wholesale distribution’. Dr Worling later became director of AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
