Deaths: Peter Noyce CBE

On 3 June 2017, Peter Raymond Noyce CBE, FRPharmS, aged 70, of Lymm, Cheshire. Professor Noyce registered with the Society in 1973. In 1994, he received Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and in 2008, he was conferred Fellowship of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

Between 1986 and 1990 Professor Noyce served as the deputy chief pharmacist at the Department of Health. In 2002, he received the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Charter gold medal for outstanding services to pharmacy, and in 2012 he was presented with the Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

In the 2008 Queen’s Birthday honours, Professor Noyce was awarded a CBE for his services to healthcare.
