On 4 December 2008 the Health Committee made an order under article51(3)(c) of the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Order 2007 (“theOrder”)
On 4 December 2008 the Health Committee made an order under article 51(3)(c) of the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Order 2007 (“the Order”) that the registration of Susan Margaret Daunt (registration number 68325) shall be conditional upon her compliance with a number of requirements for a period of three years, including: not to return to full-time work and to restrict hours of work to no more than 20 hours per week; to place herself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor (or supervisors) approved by the Society. Any such supervisor shall be a registered pharmacist; to allow the Society to exchange regular progress reports from all approved work place supervisors; to keep professional commitments under review and to limit pharmacy practice in accordance with advice.
This order will take effect 28 days from the date on which written notice of the reasons for the decision was sent to Mrs Daunt or, if an appeal is lodged, once that appeal has been disposed of or abandoned. This order is subject to review before the end of a period of 15 months.
The Committee further directed that, in accordance with article 58(2)(a) of the Order, Mrs Daunt’s registration shall be conditional upon her compliance with the above requirements immediately, pending the coming into force of the direction under article 51(3)(c).
