Tribute

Lindsey Gilpin

There are many people I meet through my elected role, many of whom I would call a friend. But Lindsey went into a category that few make, that of “thick or thin true friend”. There are few who are daft enough to take a bullet for me but I know that Lindsey would have done and has done in the past.

I loved the expressions on Lindsey’s face that instantly told me if she approved or not. The best expression of the lot was a wry smile that Lindsey cannot suppress.

Lindsey’s outstanding contributions as the first English Pharmacy Board Chair, after the launch of the new RPS, are well documented. Without Lindsey’s support and friendship, those first years of hard graft following the launch of the new RPS  would have been doubly taxing.
