Tribute to Alan Airley

My dear father, Alan Airley, was taken from us on 11 September 2015 after a long and brutal illness, bravely borne. Sadly missed, he will continue to be my greatest role model for his intellectual depth, tenacity, shrewdness, bravery and humility. My Dad was one of a generation of elder statesmen community pharmacists, who earned respect from his fellow pharmacists, his medical colleagues and through the loyalty of his long-serving pharmacy support staff. His commitment to his pharmacies and to his patients was only outweighed by his commitment to his family. Shalom Daddy, we’ll never forget you.
