Correcting common medication mistakes

20 October 2015: The Daily Mail featured an article called ‘Stop! You’re taking your medicines the wrong way’, which covered areas such as people not closing their eyes after using drops. Royal Pharmaceutical Society English Pharmacy Board member Sid Dajani spoke to the paper. One example he commented on was people not rubbing in pain relief gels. He said: “People tend to leave them on the skin without rubbing in. But you need to rub the area to increase blood circulation, which enables the medication to be absorbed.”
