18 January 2017: Olutayo Arikawe, community pharmacist and winner of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) I Love My Pharmacist competition, advised listeners to Colourful Radio on how to cope with winter illnesses, such as coughs and colds, as part of Public Health England’s ‘Stay Well this Winter’ campaign, which promotes pharmacists as frontline health professionals for minor illness. “We want everybody out there to go to their local pharmacy if they are concerned about their health. We can advise you on medicines, ailments and how to stay well this winter,” says Arikawe.
