Robbie Turner, director of pharmacy and member experience at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, said the annual conference sold out in record time

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s 2019 annual conference is now fully booked, but a waiting list has opened for those still interested in attending.

The focus of this year’s event, which will be held in London on 17 November 2019, will focus on medicines safety.

Robbie Turner, director of pharmacy and member experience at the Society, said he was “delighted that so many members are coming”, adding that the event had sold out in record time.

“Hearing from our members about workforce wellbeing has shown that our conference stream ‘Performing under pressure’, chaired by Pharmacist Support, is needed more than ever. I look forward to these sessions supporting delegates in their day-to-day practise.”

Turner added that said he was “really pleased that making our events more inclusive and accessible — for example, by offering free onsite childcare — has been such a hit”.
