RPS opposes Saatchi Bill

6 March 2015: Royal Pharmaceutical Society president Ash Soni was a signatory to a letter published in The Times protesting against the Saatchi Bill. The letter stated: “What patients need is continued support for scientifically based medical research, but what they would get under this Bill is the pretence that medical innovation sanctioned by it could cure fatal illness, when in fact it could undermine long established principles of patient safety.”
