RPS takes to the airwaves in response to Government medication errors plan

23 February 2018: Sandra Gidley, chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s English Pharmacy Board, fronted 15 radio interviews in response to plans from Jeremy Hunt, secretary of state for health and social care, to tackle medication errors.

“You’re more likely to make mistakes if you’re under pressure and in a rush, trying to do three things at once,” Gidley said. ”We have to make sure all our health workers are working in a safe environment.”
