Welsh parliamentary review of health and social care — RPS members invited to contribute

Welsh parliament cardiff

The Welsh government is undertaking a parliamentary review into the long-term future of health and social care in Wales.

The review, chaired by Ruth Hussey, former chief medical officer of Wales, will examine current issues facing healthcare in Wales and make recommendations to the Welsh government about the future delivery of services.

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s (RPS) Welsh pharmacy board will be providing evidence to the review panel, and RPS members are invited to contribute their views by completing a survey here.

The board is particularly keen to hear about examples of innovative pharmacy practice that could be replicated across Wales in future. Contributions are welcomed from RPS members in Scotland and England, as well as Wales.

The RPS survey will remain open until 9 April 2017.
