On 22 January 2016, Graham Alexander Starmer FRPharmS, aged 82, of Mosman, New South Wales, Australia. Professor Starmer registered with the Society in 1957 and was made a Fellow in 1993. He was known for his research in neuromuscular blocking agents, the pharmacology of extracts from natural products and analgesics.
