The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is currently updating the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)/National Prescribing Centre single competency framework for all prescribers.
The single framework was published in 2012 and consolidated all previous competency frameworks developed to support independent and supplementary prescribers.
The RPS has made a draft version of the updated prescribing competency framework available for comment.
